Roux Shabangu Launch New Mall for Rustenburg with the Executive Mayor Mr Khunou

he launching of the New Mall for Rustenburg with the Executive Mayor Mr Khunou kicked off yesterday the 6th of August 2019, it was a great day for the city of Rustenburg Local Municipality as the lauch of a new mall that will bring about 3000 permanet jobs to it’s citizens. The construction of the new mall in Geelhoutpark by Roux Shabangu of JB Holdings starts this month. Rustenburg Executive Mayor, Mpho Khunou is adamant that Rustenburg Mall will be completed in time and will address the unemployment crisis hitting the country. Khunou said the project is estimated create about 1000 jobs for locals.
Additionally the first phase of the Rustenburg Mall which will be operational in March 2021 will come with 3000 newly created jobs. Khunou said further to that, the Mall will have a second phase of construction which will feature more than 60 000 square meters of retail shopping. Khunou said the jobs that they have committed to, are no longer a dream but a reality. “Recently we have all heard of the staggering unemployment rate among our people especially the youth. It gives me great pleasure to be part of this historic ceremony where our people will benefit, as a Municipality our interest is in the benefaction processes that will follow, which need to be above board. We will not allow for any shady dealings, which may negatively dent the prospects of such a massive project, which ought to benefit the residents,” said Khunou
Roux Shabangu, expressed his thanks to the mayor and the local municipality for making this lauch a success and promised to build a wonderful structure without delays and to meet the opening of the the first phase of the mall.
The Rustenburg municipality is thrilled about the new landmark development that is taking place at the property between the Rustenburg Golf Course and the Olympia Park Stadium.
